The Los Angeles Police Department has its heart set on having a fleet of electric vehicles.Despite having some reservations about the Tesla Model S, which includes not being able to use the vehicle in the event of a major power outage, the LAPD is moving forward with Teslaon fitting a Model S P85D with some police equipment.
